Detection Dog Teams

Unleashing potential, increasing capacity

These teams were officially established in 2022, recognising the potential for trained Detection Dogs to support the fight against Queensland Fruit Fly.

This program was developed through the experience and knowledge of a collective 20+ years in scent detection training and 45 years in Emergency Services.

Combining this knowledge and experience with the expertise of stakeholders led to the amazing outcomes we have seen from our teams!

Before this, we established volunteer Search and Rescue teams in 2014, laying the foundation for our approach to detection and deployment.

Today, we are dedicated to training and developing Detection Dog Teams to meet the needs of biosecurity, conservation, and management projects across South Australia and beyond.

If you’d like to explore how we can support your team, contact us for a no-obligation consultation.
